Mixu hopes for Hogg return

Hibernian boss Mixu Paatelainen is hopeful of having defender Chris Hogg back in contention for the meeting with Celtic this weekend.

The 23-year-old has not featured since the 3-0 home loss to Rangers, having suffered a head injury which caused headaches and blurred vision.

Paatelainen told The Scotsman: "Chris will be back in light training today (Tuesday).

"Obviously we want to have him back in our side because he is an important player, but we will just have to wait and see how he reacts this week.

"He has not trained for the last two weeks, so we will have to see how he feels and how his fitness is.

"We will do exactly what Chris and the medical staff advise us, but hopefully he will be ready for selection."
