Miller plans Perth revenge mission

Hibernian midfielder Liam Miller is determined to atone for their Perth thrashing when they return to McDiarmid Park. Hibs surprisingly lost 5-1 against St Johnstone in February while sitting third in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League following an excellent start to the reign of John Hughes. But they have won just four matches since then - with only one of them coming this season - to leave them under pressure from their demanding fans. Whether that midweek defeat in Perth prompted a crisis of confidence that led to their disappointing form is purely conjecture, but Miller certainly remembers it well. And the former Celtic and Manchester United midfielder is determined to kick-start their season, with McDiarmid Park the perfect venue to do so. "Obviously we had a really hard game there last year, one we haven't really forgotten about," Miller said. "We know it's going to be a really tough game and one we would like to make amends for that really. We need to go there and produce. You see a hunger there this week in training, the appetite is there, everyone is charging into tackles. We all want to win. We just need to keep going and things will change."
