3 players linked with ER Hibs manager Colin Calderwood has been linked with a move for three players in the last 24 hours. First up is former Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne. Apaprently the 23-year-old defensive midfielder was sitting in the Hibees director's box, along with his family, at yesterday's friendly with Sunderland at Easter Road. Hibs are said to be close to agreeing a deal for the former England U16 international. While at Villa, Osbourne was loaned out a number of times, and spent time with Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday. Osbourne has recently been on trial with Leeds United following his release from Aston Villa. Also linked (again) with a move to Easter Road is young Newcastle United striker Phil Airey. The 19-year-old was linked with a loan move to the Hibees in January, but the deal is said to have collapsed after Airey picked up an injury. Hibs boss Colin Calderwood knows all about Airey after his spell as No.2 to Chris Hughton at St James' Park. Airey was again linked with Hibs earlier this summer, but the news went quiet until now. He won the golden boot in the Premier Reserve League North last season, with 11 goals. Another player being linked with a move to Leith is Nottingham Forest full back Brendan Moloney. The 22-year-old full back has played 25 times for the Forest first team, including starting both legs of last season's play off Semi Final against Swansea. Moloney is an Ireland U21 international, and has spent quite a bit of time out loan from Forest, including spells with Chesterfield, Rushden and Diamonds, Notts County and Scunthorpe. His loan spell at Scunthorpe ended after only three games, when a challenge by West Brom winger Chris Brunt ended his season.
