Hibernian defender Rob Jones is facing six weeks on the sidelines after suffering a knee ligament injury.
The 26-year-old limped out of Saturday's 1-0 SPL defeat against Falkirk after just 12 minutes and subsequent tests revealed medial ligament damage.
The news means Jones is likely to miss next month's two eagerly awaited Edinburgh derbies.
Meanwhile, Hibs will be without midfield duo Kevin Thomson and Scott Brown for next weekend's trip to St Mirren after they were both sent off against the Bairns.
