Ian Murray pens new Hibs deal

Defender staying Hibs have today announced that influential former captain, Ian Murray, has signed a new deal at Easter Road. Murray has put pen to paper on a two-year-deal, and is now contracted until the end of the 2011/2012 season. The former Rangers and Norwich City player, is now in his second spell at the Hibees, having progressed through the clubs famous Youth Academy, before a bosman move to Ibrox. 28-year-old Murray has now clocked up 238 appearances in a green & white shirt, during his two spells at the club. Hopefully Hibs will now get Liam Miller & Derek Riordan tied up on longer deals.
