Hughes hopeful over skipper

Hibernian boss John Hughes still believes there is a chance of keeping captain Rob Jones at Easter Road.

The defender has been linked with a £3million move to a host of English clubs - including Premier League Birmingham City - but Hughes is refusing to give up hope of retaining his skipper.

"I've spoken to Rob and as yet nothing has really changed," he revealed.

"Until something happens that changes his situation I will keep trying to get the best out of him and making sure he enjoys being about the club."
