Hibernian manager John Hughes hopes Merouane Zemmama will be fit for their crucial SPL game against Dundee United on Wednesday.[LNB] The Moroccan limped out of Saturday's 3-1 win at Falkirk after just 14 minutes and went for a scan on his knee earlier on Monday.[LNB]Hughes is now keeping his fingers crossed that Zemmama will be able to play his part in a match which will have a major bearing on the race for third place in the SPL.[LNB]"He was away for a scan today and fingers crossed it's not too serious," said the Hibs boss.[LNB]"He has only started and finished five 90 minutes for us and played 15 or 16 times for Hibs this year.[LNB]"He has had a lot of injury problems. I told him, from now until the end of the season, to get himself going and give us a bit of magic and score goals.[LNB]"I could see the sparkle in his eye and I felt really sorry for him when this happened.[LNB]"Hopefully it's not too serious and it's just a knock to the knee and with a bit of lady luck he will be okay for Wednesday.[LNB]"If not Wednesday, then hopefully Saturday."[LNB]The visit of United is Hibs' first home match since suffering defeat in the Edinburgh derby against Hearts and crashing out of the Active Nation Scottish Cup to Irn-Bru First Division outfit Ross County.[LNB]And Hughes has told his players to expect to find themselves under pressure from the Easter Road crowd despite a return to winning ways against the Bairns.[LNB]"Definitely, but it has to be like that," he said.[LNB]"You can see in one or two players a loss of confidence and their self-belief has dipped a little. But their effort and commitment has never been in doubt.[LNB]"I was fortunate to play for Celtic, where the demands are win, win, win every week. You have to win everything you do.[LNB]"It's something I picked up and I want to set that culture at Hibs.[LNB]"I've had a good response but it takes time and I just hope they get their rewards.[LNB]"Winning on Wednesday will go a long way towards that."[LNB]
