Merouane Zemmama opened the scoring in the 27th minute as Hibs gained a tangible reward for outplaying United in the first half.[LNB]The Easter Road outfit, however, failed to convert their dominance into further goals as United managed to get into the break with a chance of dragging themselves back into the encounter.[LNB]And that's exactly what happened as Andy Webster notched a 72nd-minute equaliser with the aid of a deflection to rescue a point for Craig Levein's side.[LNB]Hughes was disappointed Hibs were only able to take a point from the clash.[LNB]He said: "In the first half and the second half apart from the first 15 and 20 minutes when it was all Dundee United, I thought we did enough to win it.[LNB]"We even had Derek's chance in the second half that he missed.[LNB]"Apart from Graham Stack picking the ball out of the net, he didn't have any real saves.[LNB]"I thought we should have wrapped it up in the first half but I can't ask anymore from the boys.[LNB]"I have chopped and changed things since I have been here but I thought playing with the four attacking boys worked a treat in the first half.[LNB]"We sat back a bit in the second half and invited them on to us. You don't always get what your deserve in football."[LNB]United manager Levein, whose side were reduced to 10 men two minutes from the end of the match after Prince Buaben was shown a red card following an off the ball altercation with Anthony Stokes, revealed he had to subject his players to the hairdryer treatment at half-time following a woeful first half display.[LNB]He said: "Poor is not the word for how bad we were in the first half. In the three years I have been at the club, I can count on one hand how many times I have had to raise my voice.[LNB]"I can't believe how bad we were in the first half. It was more than concerning, we couldn't pass the ball, we didn't tackle and we didn't win the second ball.[LNB]"It wasn't about personnel, it was more about the attitude of the personnel. When passes go astray that's them not concentrating but a kick up the back side can change that.[LNB]"The pleasing thing was the attitude we showed right from kick off after the break, we were on the front foot."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
