Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood has backed caretaker management team Mark Proctor and John Park to succeed the departed Tony Mowbray at Hibs.
Ahead of the meeting of the two sides at Pittodrie on Monday, the Dons boss has offered his support to first-team coach Proctor and academy director Park, whose only game in charge ended in a 4-0 thrashing of Dunfermline last week,
"Mark Proctor and John Park have done a great job," he said.
"From what I have read, the players appear to be very happy having them in charge, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the future.
"I don't know Mark but my assistant boss, Jimmy Nicholl, played with him at Sunderland and said he was a really good footballer.
"It appears Mark likes to play football the way it should be played and obviously he must share the same philosophies as Tony as that is why he was brought to the club."
