Hibs linked with Huddersfield striker Lee Novak
Geordie striker on Hibs radar???
Hibs have today been linked, again, with Huddersfield striker Lee Novak.
The 24-year-old geordie is out-of-contract at Huddersfield this summer, and despite being offered new terms, has not signed a contract with the Championship club.
Hibs boss Pat Fenlon is said to be keen to bring the 6ft 1in striker to Easter Road.
Birmingham City have also been linked with the player, with Blues boss Lee Clark the manager who actually signed him whilst at Huddersfield.
Novak started his career with the now defunct Grenta as a teenager, before moving to non league football in England with Newcastle Blue Star and then Gateshead, scoring a lot of goals for both clubs.
His form earned him a £150,000 move to Huddersfield in 2009, where he has scored 42 goals in 150+ appearances.
Hibs boss Pat Fenlon will be desperate to bolster his forward line over the summer, with Leigh Griffiths' future still up in the air, Shefki Kuqi likely to leave and Eoin Doyle having agreed a pre-contract move to Chesterfield, leaving the Hibees with only exciting teenagers Handling and Caldwell as their strikeforce.
