Hibernian caretaker manager Tommy Craig claims the club will only part with David Murphy should they receive a head-turning offer.
The former Middlesbrough full-back has been linked with moves to Celtic and Rangers plus several Premier League clubs in the transfer window, but Craig believes he will only leave Easter Road if they receive an offer that is too good to refuse.
"With David Murphy, we know that clubs are going to be looking at him," he said.
"If David Murphy does leave Easter Road in the not too distant future, I am pretty sure it will have to be a hell of an offer.
"I would like to think, as long as I am still here, he will be here."
Meanwhile, Craig expects the club to appoint a new manager in early January following John Collins' surprise departure last week.
