Hibernian have handed a trial to young
Chelsea goalkeeper Yves Makaba-Makalamby.
The 20-year-old Belgian has struggled to make the grade in the star-studded Stamford Bridge ranks and is hoping to kick-start his career with a move to Easter Road.
"I made some phone calls down south and his was a name which was thrown at me," said Hibs boss John Collins.
"Jose (Mourinho) was happy for him to come up for us to have a look at him."
Makaba-Makalamby spent a month on loan at Watford last season and has been on the bench for Chelsea in the Champions League during the current campaign.
