Hibs allay Fletcher concerns

Hibernian manager Mixu Paatelainen has allayed fears that Steven Fletcher suffered a serious injury during Saturday's 2-0 win over Hamilton.

The Scotland striker was carried off midway through the first half after being caught by a heavy tackle from Accies' defender David Elebert.

"Steven is struggling to walk at the moment, however it is nothing serious - just a knock on the shin," revealed Paatelainen.

"Hopefully he will be back for next week but it might take a couple of days for the injury to settle down.

"It's just a knock, albeit a sore one, and we will see how is over the next few days.

"If he is still sore in the coming days we might send him for a scan."
