Hibs youngster Scott Smith sings new contract
Promising full back signs on Hibs have today announced that promising youngster Scott Smith has signed a new deal with the club. The Scotland U19 internationalist has signed a 2-year-deal at Easter Road, which keeps him tied to the club until 2012. The 18-year-old full back becomes the latest product to emerge from the famous Hibernian Youth Academy, and will hope to make his mark like David Wotherspoon did last season. Smith was delighted to have agreed the deal, and is targeting a first team berth in the coming season, he said: "I only have one ambition at the moment - to get into the first team. "I'm going to keep working hard and will try and catch the Gaffer's eye; I'm delighted that I'll be here for another couple of seasons and I really want to make an impression and get into the first team."
