Hibs winger Danny Galbraith signs new deal

Youngster pens new contract Hibs today revealed that they have secured Scotland U21 winger Danny Galbraith on a new contract. The former Manchester United youngster joined the Hibees in 2009 from the Old Trafford giants, and has broken into the squad at Easter Road this season. 20-year-old Galbraith, who was recently called upto the Scotland U21 squad, has signed a new 2-and-a-half-year-deal at Easter Road. Speaking to the official club website, Galbraith said: "Now I want to repay the manager and show what I am capable of on a regular basis. "It gives you a boost when you get recognition from the manager. "It gives me the time to keep progressing and developing at the club," he said of his new contract. "Hibernian is the best place for me to be and I'm grateful to the club for giving me a chance to rebuild my career after my injury problems. "I just want to build on what I've achieved this season and to help the club compete at the highest level."
