Hibs to play Barnsley in Pre-Season Friendly

Championship side to head to Easter Road Hibs have today announced a further friendly game to add to their pre-season programme. The Hibees will face English Championship side Barnsley at Easter Road on Saturday July 16th, with a 3pm kick off. Barnsley have a new manager in Keith Hill, who replaced Mark Robins, and it will be their first pre-season friendly, as they look to build for the season ahead. The Tykes last visited Easter Road in 1998, when they were one of the opposition, as the Hibees opened the then newly built Famous Five Stand. Hibs full pre-sason programme is as follows: Saturday 2 July, Berwick Rangers v Hibernian, Shielfield Park, Berwick - kick off 3pm. Tuesday 5 July, Livingston v Hibernian, The Braidwood Motor Company Stadium, Livingston - kick off 7.45pm. Saturday 9 July, East Fife v Hibernian, Bayview Stadium, Methil - kick off 3pm. Saturday 16 July, Hibernian v Barnsley, Easter Road Stadium, Edinburgh - kick-off 3pm. Tuesday 19 July, Falkirk v Hibernian, Falkirk Stadium, Falkirk - kick off 7.30pm. Tuesday 26 July, Blackpool v Hibernian, Bloomfield Road, Blackpool - kick-off 7.45pm. Saturday 6 August, Hibernian v Sunderland, Easter Road Stadium, Edinburgh - kick-off 3pm.
