Hibs striker Stokes to face the Hampden beaks

29 April 2010 23:19
ROI striker in the dock Hibs striker Anthony Stokes is set to called up in front of the Hampden beaks, after they decided he should face trial by TV, over his tackle on Celtic player Landry N'Guemo. Despite the referee not taking any action at the time, during the Hibees 3-2 loss at Parkhead, the 21-year-old Republic of Ireland striker could still be in trouble, when he faces the SFA disciplinary committee. Hibs boss John Hughes is stunned by the news, he said: "I find it quite surprising. Who has made the complaint? I know it wasn't Celtic but was George Peat at our game? I don't know."
