Youngster signs until January Hibs boss John Hughes has confirmed his SIXTH signing of the summer transfer window. Middlesbrough youngster Jonathan Grounds has joined the Hibees on loan until January. The 22-year-old left back played over 20 games for Boro last season, and has had two loan spells at Norwich City, playing 16 times over the two loan periods. Grounds has already played for Boro this season in the Carling Cup, and brings decent experience to Easter Road. Hibs boss John Hughes has already strengthened his defence with the signing of Ghana defender Francis Dickoh, and 6ft 1in Grounds, who can play both centre half and left back. Speaking to the official club website, Grounds said: “I’ve heard a lot about the SPL from the Scottish lads at Boro, and I’m keen to get playing with Hibernian. It looks like an exciting league and a great club to be part of.” Tell us what you think of this news on the Hibernian-Mad message board, at the link below. http://www.hibernian-mad.co.uk/mboard/loadboard.asp
