Hibs set to sign Liverpool youngster Victor Palsson

Calderwood targets yet another midfielder According to Sky Sports, Hibs are closing in on the signing of Liverpool midfielder Victor Palsson. The 19-year-old Iceland midfielder is thought to be close to signing on at Easter Road, and becoming Colin Calderwood's fourth January signing. Palsson has already spent time on loan with Dagenham this season, playing 2 games. The Icelandic U19 star would follow the signings of Matt Thornhill from Nottingham Forest, Martin Scott from Ross County and loan signing from Celtic Ritchie Towell. What's not clear yet, is wether the deal is permanent one or a loan deal. Worryingly, all four singings play in midfield, although Towell is a natural right back, and with the Hibees not scoring goals and conceding at an alarming rate, Calderwood has stated on the clubs official site, that only one more signing will be arriving. Surely we are desperate for a commanding central defender and a goalscorer??
