Ian Murray, Graham Stack, Scott Taggart and Sean Welsh have already been released, along with 8 of the 9 players on loan at the club returning to their parent clubs.

Honduran midfielder Jorge Claros, also on loan in Edinburgh, looks set to have his loan deal cancelled early after a poor half season in the green and white.

While Garry O'Connor and Mark Brown are also out-of-contract and not expected to stay with the Hibees.

A number of other squad members could also find themselves looking at the exit door after a shocker of a season.
