McPake, Murray and Galbraith all start training

Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has today been handed a triple boost as he looks pull the Hibees away from the SPL relegation zone.

Fenlon has been handed the news that injured trio James McPake, Ian Murray and Danny Galbraith could all be in contention for the visit to Inverness in the SPL this weekend.

Murray has been out since January following hip surgery, and the former Rangers and Norwich City players' experience could be massive in the SPL run in.

Skipper James McPake is also expected to return this weekend, having missed Saturday's 2-0 loss to Dundee Utd at Easter Road through a back problem.

Also expected to come into contention is winger Danny Galbraith.

The 21-year-old left winger has been out lately with a groin problem, and his direct running and pace should give Fenlon a further option.

Fenlon, speaking to the club's official website said:

"James is back in and he has done some light work with the physios. He'll be back in properly over the next day or two and we expect he'll be back in full training on Friday and available for the weekend."

He added: "Ian is making good progress. Again, we're looking at Friday for him to return to full training. He's working hard with (head physiotherapist) Calum Rea at the moment.

"He feels good and feels fresh, which is a positive sign because his experience is going to be a crucial for us in the run-in.

"Danny is back in training and he did the full session on Tuesday. We're trying to keep him training for the full week, rather in and out for a few days, and then he will be available for selection."
