Hibs bid to loan Arsenal youngster Jay Emmanuel-Thomas
Hibs looking at young gun Hibs have today been linked with a loan move for Arsenal youngster Jay Emmanuel-Thomas. The 20-year-old is wanted by boss Colin Calderwood on loan until the end of the season, and would be a major coup should it be pulled off. The 6ft 3in England U19 striker has spent time on loan at both Doncaster and Blackpool, and would bring strength, speed and trickery to a poor Hibs side. Hibs boss Calderwood is on a mission to bolster his squad, as the Hibees have had a shocking season so far. According to rumours sweeping the city yesterday, both Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker Adam Rooney, and Falkirk winger Ryan Flynn were at the clubs East Mains Training facility yesterday having medicals, although this has still to be confirmed by the club.
