Hibs have today announced their pre-season programme for the start of the 2012/13 SPL season.
First up the Hibees will play Romanian giants Rapid Bucharest at the Grangemouth Stadium on Wednesday 11th July 2012, with a 7.30 kick off.
Hibs boss Pat fenlon then takes his players on a three match tour of Belgium.
The first game of the tour will take place against RSC Charleroi, on Wednesday 18th July, with kick off time and venue still to be confirmed.
Charleroi, of course, share a tenious link with the Hibees, they were managed by John Collins for a short time, after he departed Easter Road in 2007.
Next up for the Hibees is a game against Leuven on Saturday 21st July 2012, again kick off time and venue still to be confirmed.
Fenlon's side then round of their tour the next day, with a game against Zeeland Select (A regional select side) on Sunday 22nd July 2012, as before, kick off times and venue to be decided.
Hibs then head back to Easter Road, where they will face German Bundesliga 2. side Union Berlin on Wednesday 25th July, with a 7.45pm kick off.
The to round things off Huddersfield come to Edinburgh, hot on the heels of their promotion to the English Championship. The game will be played on Saturday 28th July with a 2pm kick off.
