Danny Handling ruled out as Hibernian prepare for Queen of the South clash
Danny Handling will miss Hibernian's Betfred Cup clash with Queen of the South due to a knee injury.
Dylan McGeouch and Fraser Fyvie, who missed Saturday's 2-1 success at Falkirk, will be assessed ahead of the game.
New goalkeeper Ofir Marciano will be involved if international clearance comes through in time.
Hibs boss Neil Lennon said: "Saturday's win was fantastic but there were occasions where we could have kept our composure a bit better. Queen of the South played well at Dundee United on Saturday and will have a go, so we need to be solid throughout."
Queen of the South skipper Chris Higgins is a major doubt after suffering a hamstring injury in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Tannadice.
Manager Gavin Skelton said: "We had a very good opening 45 minutes at the weekend and then dipped in the second. We need to turn that into a very good full game if we are to win at Hibs."
