Liam Fontaine and Dylan McGeouch return for Hibs

Both Liam Fontaine and Dylan McGeouch are back in the Hibernian squad after injury as they face Queen of the South in their final Scottish Championship game of the season.

Hibs need to leapfrog Falkirk - who are three goals ahead on goal difference - to save themselves early entry in the play-offs against Raith Rovers.

Midfielder John McGinn said of Falkirk, who play Morton: "It's all in their hands. If they manage to do the business and get three points then they will fully deserve second place. It's not through luck, we have let ourselves down over the course of March and April.

"If it takes six games to get promoted, or if it takes four, we are willing to do whatever it takes."

Queen of the South's interim management team of Gavin Skelton and Jim Thomson are without banned pair Andy Dowie and Lewis Kidd.

Kyle Hutton and Jake Pickard are both injury doubts while on-loan Hibs winger Alex Harris is not able to feature against his parent club.

Skelton said: "The boys reacted well to going behind against Livingston last week and came back to win. They showed good character and we will need to show that character again as this is a massive game to be involved in.

"Hibs will be looking to finish second however finishing fifth is a target for this squad and we want to hit it."
