Striker James Keatings returns for Hibernian

Striker James Keatings returns to the Hibernian squad for the Ladbrokes Championship clash with Livingston after recovering from a back spasm.

But defender Liam Fontaine remains on the sidelines with a thigh strain.

Head coach Alan Stubbs has warned that Livingston will be dangerous opposition as they look to follow up a comeback point against Falkirk and escape the play-offs.

Stubbs told Hibs TV: "I think it always will have its difficulties when you play teams that still have something to fight for. Livingston have had some results over the last number of weeks that have given them an opportunity to try to get away from that second to last play-off spot.

"While that is there, you know that they will always be fighting for their lives and because of that you know it's going to be a difficult game. You only need to look at their result against Falkirk and it tells you that we need to be on good form to get a result."

Livingston have Jackson Longridge available after a one game ban but Gary Glen will miss out with a groin injury and Danny Mullen is struggling with an ankle problem.

Manager David Hopkin is looking for his side to accelerate their climb to safety. He said: "We would be out of the relegation play-off place if we had defeated Alloa at the weekend.

"We only drew and we now face tough games at Hibs and then Morton but we could be in eighth if we take something from both of those games.

"No one gives us a chance at Hibs but we won at Falkirk recently when no one fancied us."
