Hibs keeper still unable to play

Hibs goalkeeper Ofir Marciano is set to miss out again when Dunfermline visit Easter Road.

The Israeli is still awaiting his work permit following his move from Belgian football and he remains unavailable along with the injured Danny Handling (knee). However, Dylan McGeough is back in contention as the Edinburgh side look to bounce back from losing 3-1 in the Betfred Cup to Queen of the South.

"There was not a lot wrong with the performance on Tuesday apart from a failure to take our chances. It is good to have a game again so quickly," said Hibs boss Neil Lennon.

Dunfermline defender Lee Ashcroft is suspended after his red card in the 4-3 win over Dumbarton but Jason Talbot is back from a ban.

Callum Fordyce is included in the squad after 11 months out with a broken leg and former Celtic striker Ciaran Lafferty has joined the Pars on a short-term deal. However, Nat Wedderburn will be absent with an ankle injury.

"I will not be getting taken in by Hibs losing in midweek. They are a strong side who played really well in the first half and should have scored a few goals," said Dunfermline manager Allan Johnston. "They will be fired up so we will need to play well."
