Hibernian defender Darren McGregor free to face Morton after red card overturned

Hibernian defender Darren McGregor will be able to face Morton on Saturday after overturning his recent red card against the Greenock side.

McGregor was sent off for squaring up to Kudus Oyenuga after the Morton player fouled Jordon Forster in the incident which sparked a touchline melee in a goalless Easter Road draw on March 29.

But Hibs confirmed the card has been downgraded to a yellow, meaning McGregor is available for Saturday's eagerly-awaited encounter at Cappielow.
