Hibernian clinch O'Hanlon deal

Hibernian have completed the signing of Sean O'Hanlon on a two-year contract following the defender's recent departure from MK Dons.[LNB] O'Hanlon was released by Dons boss Karl Robinson last month after the club's League One play-off defeat at the hands of Peterborough United.[LNB]The 28-year-old has now secured a move to the SPL and he is looking forward to the opportunity of playing for Hibs.[LNB]"I'm really pleased to be joining Hibernian and I'm looking forward to the challenge of trying to win some silverware," O'Hanlon told Hibernian TV.[LNB]"Basically I want to help Hibernian challenge for cups, get into Europe and to compete well in the League.[LNB]"Colin Calderwood says he has been chasing me for a few years, so it is great to be able to sign for a manager that has shown such a lot of interest in me.[LNB]"I'm very fortunate this opportunity came about; Hibernian are one of the biggest clubs in Scotland and it is a fantastic set-up."[LNB]Hibs boss Calderwood added: "Sean is an experienced player and a great professional with leadership qualities - I'm really pleased to have him on board for next season.[LNB]"He is another experienced voice in the dressing room and a good organiser on the pitch. He certainly complements what we already have in the squad and is an important addition."
