Hibernian 2-1 Kilmarnock: Report

16 October 2010 17:32

Chris Hogg inspired Hibernian to a first victory at Easter Road in over seven months with a first-ever double in the 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock.

The restored captain helped lift the gloom following the exit of John Hughes to ensure stand-in dug-out duo Alistair Stevenson and Gareth Evans savoured a much-needed Clydesdale Bank Premier League win.

Defender Hogg - playing his first game since August 29 after being dropped by Hughes - proved the hero thanks to a headed brace in a seven-minute burst just before half-time.
