Former Manchester United and Rangers defender Henning Berg and former Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood have become the latest names to thow their names in the ring, for the vacant managers post at Easter Road.
Berg, who has just recently quit as manager of Norwegian side Lillestrom, has stated his desire for the job, by saying:
"I enjoyed my time in the UK as a player and would love to return in a managerial capacity," Berg told the Daily Record.
"The Hibs job is very attractive - I know they have great facilities at the stadium and training ground - and I'd love to speak to them."
Former Dunfermline and Aberdeen boss Calderwood was asked if he'd be interested in the Hibs job, speaking on national radio, he said:
"Of course, it's a wonderful club.
"It's a very, very well run club but there's something wrong and I don't know what it is.
"They have got to open up and communicate to the supporters.
"They know the interest's there. I think every manager that wanted to go there would let that be known as we did and you just wait and see if you get an interview or not.
"I think it's got to be an experienced manager. Everything's virtually there.
"They've got the stadium, they've got a wonderful training facility seemingly and it's just a matter of getting it on the park and I don't think it would be too difficult if you got the backing."
