Gow sets sight on Hibs stay

On-loan Hibernian forward Alan Gow is hoping to secure a permanent move to Easter Road by impressing in the closing weeks of the season.

The 27-year-old former Rangers and Falkirk man joined Hibs on loan from Plymouth Argyle at the end of January, but his time back in the SPL has been hit by a number of injury problems.

However, an upbeat Gow said: "I've loved my time at the club so far, but I've had a bit of bad luck with injuries.

"I definitely don't want to go back to Plymouth and I'd like to make a bit of an impact before the end of the season.

"All I can hope for is I do well over the next few weeks. I'm having a great time and I'd be more than happy to stay here."
