Gow reunited with Hughes

Forward Alan Gow has been reunited with manager John Hughes after joining Hibernian on loan from Plymouth Argyle.

Gow, 27, worked under Hughes at former club Falkirk before moving on to Rangers three years ago.

The Scotland 'B' international headed south to join the Pilgrims last summer in a £200,000 deal but has now returned to the Scottish Premier League.

"I'm delighted to be joining Hibernian to the end of the season and looking forward to working with John Hughes again," he told the club's official website.

"I know how the gaffer likes to play the game and how well the team are performing at the moment, so I can't wait to meet the boys."

Hughes added: "Alan is a player I admire tremendously and I know what he's all about from our time together at Falkirk.

"The supporters have been fantastic since I've been at the club and it's always good to give them a lift at this time of year, so I'm delighted to get Alan to Hibernian for the rest of the campaign."
