Fletcher backed for call-up

Hibernian manager Mixu Paatelainen has backed Steven Fletcher to win a place in the Scotland squad for the friendly international against Croatia.
Fletcher grabbed his 14th goal of the season in Saturday's 2-0 win against Kilmarnock as Hibs moved up to third in the SPL table and Paatelainen believes the 20-year-old deserves to be given the chance to star for his country.
He said: "I hope he's done enough to be in the squad. He's scored a few goals and looks very lively. I think he deserves to be in the squad."
On his side's Easter Road win, Paatelainen added: "We had to work hard but we knew that before the game.
"Kilmarnock came here with a determined attitude to stop us playing, but we managed to score two fantastic goals.
"It's very important to have players that can score and it's also important to have a solid defence."
