An approach from the SPL leaders for Fletcher was rejected by Hibs on Friday and their manager Mixu Paatelainen appeared confident the player would stay at Easter Road.[LNB]Speaking after Saturday's draw with Motherwell, the Hibs boss expressed his belief that the time was not right for Fletcher to leave the club.[LNB]However, the Scotland international believes he is ready to move on and wants to help Celtic's push for honours this season.[LNB]"I'm excited at the thought of moving to Celtic Park," Fletcher told the Sunday Mail. "I'm ambitious and would love to play for them.[LNB]"I'm at a stage where I want to win things and play in the Champions League. Celtic will give me that chance.[LNB]"For the development of my career it is time to move to a bigger club.[LNB]"It will help me and improve my chances of playing for Scotland.[LNB]"If I get the chance to go to Celtic I don't plan to be sitting on the bench. They have international class players in every position, but I will work hard and push to get in the starting line-up.[LNB]"It is within my capabilities to make a worthwhile contribution to Celtic and their push for silverware. But it's out of my hands and that's a little frustrating.[LNB]"I've been in the Hibs first team since I was 17 and have enjoyed every minute. Hibs have been good to me and I will always appreciate that - but it is time for me to progress and I hope that is taken into account."[LNB][LNB]
