Fenlon explains Claros omission

Hibernian boss Pat Fenlon admitted he dropped Jorge Claros for the 0-0 draw at Aberdeen because of speculation over his Easter Road future.

The Honduras international is on loan from Motagua in his home country, but with his stint at Hibs due to expire next week and discussions over his future ongoing, Fenlon felt the midfielder was not of the right frame of mind to play. He said:

"We felt his head hasn't been right the last couple of days. He's in a situation where we have to get his future sorted out.

"I had a good chat with him and just felt that he wasn't in the right frame of mind to play.

"He hasn't signed for us yet. We're working on that at the moment and have been for the last three or four weeks and it's been slowed up. But hopefully by Monday we'll have a resolution."

Hibs have also been linked with former Dundee United midfielder Scott Robertson, now at Blackpool. Talks with the midfielder are ongoing and Fenlon added:

"We've been speaking to Scott and hopefully we'll be able to add him to the squad on Monday as well."
