Lynch, Killen and Grof on the move Three ex Hibs players are making the headlines tonight, following moves to new clubs. Former keeper David Grof has signed a 1-year-deal with English League Side Notts County. The 21-year-old Hungarian has been without a club since being released by the Hibees at the end of the 2008-09 season, following various drink driving convictions. Grof has trained with a few clubs since leaving Easter Road, including Tamworth and Gillingham. He made one appearance for the club, as a sub against First Division Morton in the shock 4-3 CIS Cup defeat at Easter Road. Let's hope Nottingham bars and clubs are well stocked...... Also in the news is former midfielder Sean Lynch. Lynch has signed for St Mirren, following a successful trial with the Paisley club. The 23-year-old only made 5 appearances at Easter Road, despite showing massive promise in the youth set-up. He spent time on loan at St Johnstone, but that only lasted one game, after he was injured in his debut against Dundee. Hibs released him in August 2008, he then signed for Falkirk after he impressed then boss John Hughes. In all Lynch played 10 games for the Bairns, before being released following their relegation from the SPL. Last but not least is Chris Killen. The 28-year-old former Hibees striker has signed a very lucrative deal with Chinese side Shenzhen Ruby, thought to be in the region of £10,000 a week. Killen was a massive hit at Easter Road before his career long injury jinx struck again. The New Zealand forward snapped his Achilles tendon in a Scottish Cup match at Pittodrie against Aberdeen in December 2006. He never played for the club again, his contract running out at the end of that season. Killen signed for Celtic on a 3-year-deal, after turning down a 12 month extension at Easter Road. He went on to play for Norwich City (Loan) and most recently Middlesbrough. Hibs signed Killen on a free from Oldham Athletic, he scored an impressive 21 goals in 35 games in a green and white shirt.
