Sunderland and Hibernian drew 0-0 in a low-key pre-season friendly on a rainy afternoon at Easter Road on Saturday.[LNB] The Premier League side bossed the game from the off - with Stephane Sessegnon outstanding - but were unable to find an opening despite a host of chances.[LNB]The Benin international created two early openings for Seb Larsson and further chances followed for Asamoah Gyan and Jack Colback as the Black Cats laid siege to the Hibs goal.[LNB]There were brief moments of promise for the home side through the lively Gary O'Connor but it was Sunderland who went closest before the break, Phil Bardsley hammering a shot inches wide.[LNB]The one-way traffic continued after half-time with further chances for the visitors from Craig Gardner, Sessegnon and Gyan.[LNB]At the other end, Hibs sub Ross Caldwell fired horribly wide moments after coming on but the closest either side came to a goal was 12 minutes from time when Connor Wickham saw his shot cannon off the upright.
