Calderwood praise for Towell

Hibs boss Colin Calderwood believes new loan signing Richie Towell will "definitely help us" as the team attempts to move away from the relegation zone. Towell, signed from Celtic this week, was at fault for Nikica Jelavic's goal in Rangers` 2-0 win at Easter Road after Madjid Bougherra set the ball rolling. But Calderwood said: "Apart from that I think he had quite a sprightly debut. "He's got personality and drive and he's got assets that will definitely help us between now and the end of the season. I think he's going to be a very worthwhile signing." As well as Towell, Hibs also signed Martin Scott and Matt Thornhill and Calderwood expects more new arrivals before the end of the transfer window. He added: "We are quite far down the line with one more. If there were two, that wouldn't be a surprise to me and hopefully there will be."
