Calderwood: I'm going nowhere

Colin Calderwood retains the appetite to make a success of his job as manager of Hibernian and insisted he has no plans to join Chris Hughton at West Brom, if the former Newcastle boss takes charge at The Hawthorns.

Calderwood moved to Easter Road last October after working at Newcastle alongside Hughton - linked with succeeding Roberto Di Matteo - including last season when the Magpies earned promotion to the Barclays Premier League.

Calderwood said: "I want to stay. I speak to Chris regularly and I don't think he's even got the job yet. I'm sure he'll be a good and worthy favourite for the job so it will be interesting to see what transpires from here."

He added: "I'm thoroughly enjoying my time. I'm looking forward to really getting my teeth in to what I think is a terrific opportunity for myself, the same as it was when I joined."

After a first win since November - last week's 2-0 defeat of St Mirren - Calderwood called for his players to build on the result, beginning against Kilmarnock.

He added: "We've got to be more consistent in terms of results than we have been.

"It's an ideal opportunity, with two home games together, to take as many points as you can.

"We've got three, but that's not enough. We're looking for another win."
