Hibernian manager Colin Calderwood has revealed he is closing in on two transfer targets.[LNB] The former Scotland defender hopes to have both players in before their next Scottish Premier League game, against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on August 14.[LNB]Calderwood, whose side face Sunderland at Easter Road on Saturday, told Hibernian TV: "We've spoken to a couple of players this week. We're pushing forward on that, although nothing will happen before the weekend.[LNB]"But we're hopeful we can move forward and try to do something - certainly within the next fortnight.[LNB]"It has been a good couple of days that we've had and we just want to add a bit of strength in depth to everyone.[LNB]"We won't stop until the transfer deadline finishes at the end of the month - it will be a busy period."[LNB]Calderwood has only signed four players this summer - Garry O'Connor, Ivan Sproule, Sean O'Hanlon and Junior Agogo - despite losing more than a full team at the end of last season. But he feels that patience could pay dividends.[LNB]"The interesting thing is the catalogue of players is becoming bigger and contains a higher standard of player than it was four or five weeks ago," he said.
