Hibernian have had their appeal against Guillaume Beuzelin's red card in the 3-3 draw with Rangers rejected by the Scottish Football Association.
The Frenchman was sent off for a clash with Gers striker Kris Boyd, but referee Charlie Richmond has stood by his original decision.
A statement from the SFA read: "Hibernian have lost a claim of wrongful dismissal in respect of the sending-off of Guillaume Beuzelin.
"For claims for the offences of denying the opposing team or an opponent a goal or obvious goal-scoring opportunity, the referee is given the opportunity of reviewing the circumstances of the sending-off.
"Charlie Richmond was able to view a tape of the match supplied by Hibernian FC and confirmed he was entirely satisfied with his decision."
