Striker has his contract terminated.

More news from Easter Road this January transfer deadline day.

Striker Akpo Sodje has become the latest player to be shown the door by Pat Fenlon.

The 32-year-old has had his contract terminated by mutual consent, and follows Michael Hart, Junior Agogo, Matt Thornhill, David Crawford and Victor Palsson to leave by mutual consent.

Sodje joined the Hibees from Charlton Athletic last January, and started well, scoring 7 goals in 16 games.

The former Sheff Wed striker picked up an injury in pre-season and struggled to win his place back in the team.

Sodje made 30 appearances in all for the club.

Hibernian-Mad would like to wish Akpo all the very best for the future.
