Junior Agogo is confident Colin Calderwood will bring out the best in him after signing for Hibernian.[LNB] The 31-year-old Ghana international agreed a one-year deal with Hibs this week following a trial to be reunited with Calderwood, his manager at Nottingham Forest from 2006 to 2008.[LNB]Agogo told STV: "Speaking to the gaffer when I first came here brought back memories of when I played for him. "All my memories of me and the gaffer playing wise were good.[LNB]"He's definitely a manager you would want to play for. "He knows how to man manage people, which for me is a key part of being a manager.[LNB]"He knows how to get the best out of players and he managed to get the best out of me when I played for him."[LNB]Calderwood has been linked with the assistant manager's posts at Birmingham and Forest all summer, but Agogo is certain the manager will stay at Easter Road.[LNB]When asked if talk of Calderwood moving on was a concern for him, Agogo said: "No. I don't think he will go."[LNB]He became Calderwood's fourth summer signing, following the captures of Garry O'Connor, Ivan Sproule and Sean O'Hanlon.[LNB]Agogo will vie for a forward place with O'Connor and Akpo Sodje, but is happy with competition for places.[LNB]He added: "When all of us are fit it's good, because it gives competition.[LNB]"I think we've got an amazing team. We've got a lot of youth, which is good, and a few older boys as well. The blend is good."[LNB]Agogo will not be in contention for Saturday's trip to Inverness as he currently has a thigh strain.[LNB]The August 6 friendly with Sunderland is a possible date for his debut, with the Scottish Premier League trip to Kilmarnock a week later another chance.[LNB]Agogo added: "Hopefully I should start doing a bit of running by the end of the week and start training next week."
