Voronin could move to Valencia

Andrei Voronin's advisor is refusing to comment on speculation linking the Liverpool striker with a move to Valencia.

The 29-year-old is currently enjoying a very successful season-long loan switch at Hertha Berlin, with his goals helping the club move to the top of the Bundesliga.

Voronin said earlier this week that he had no intention of returning to Anfield and his advisor, Andrei Golowasch, has now told Bild: "We have had a number of enquiries but I don't want to comment.

"We have had a very positive discussion with Hertha. Now we need a concrete decision. Perhaps there will be something new in the next few weeks."

However, Hertha are keen to tie up a permanent deal for the Ukraine international, with general manager Dieter Hoeness saying: "We will do all we can to keep Andrei in Berlin.

"But there are no guarantees. If we can't find a way, then we'll have to look at other possibilities."
