Janker secures Hertha move

Hertha Berlin have completed the signing of defender Christoph Janker on a two-year contract following his release by Hoffenheim.

The 24-year-old is a free agent, having spent three seasons with Hoffe after starting his career with 1860 Munich.

Janker said after penning a deal with Hertha: "A transfer to Hertha is the next step in my development.

"I would like to play as many games as possible and am looking forward to the great atmosphere inside the Olympiastadion."
