Hertha Berlin have added three new players to their squad, bringing in Florian Kringe, Cesar and Adrian Ramos.

Midfielder Kringe, 27, joins on an initial season-long loan from Borussia Dortmund, while fellow schemer Cesar arrives from UAE side Al-Sadd on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Colombia striker Adrian Ramos has penned a four-year contract to seal a move from America de Cali.

Sporting director Michael Preetz told the club's official website: "We had to have a long think about where to invest our resources, which increased by qualifying for the Europa League group stages.

"We don't view the signings as last-minute panic buys, they are all players who can help the team right away.

"We need a larger squad because of our European campaign."

Meanwhile, TSG Hoffenheim have allowed Brazilian striker Wellington to join Dutch club FC Twente on loan for the whole of the current campaign.

The 21-year-old made just four starts in his first season in Germany, with a further 15 appearances coming as a substitute, with Wellington scoring three times for Hoffe.
