Turner turns to loanee Weale

Hereford United have filled their goalkeeping void with the signing of Chris Weale on a month's loan from Bristol City.

The 26-year-old was recently being lined up for a spell with Rotherham United, but has now headed to Edgar Street until Christmas.

The Bulls were on the lookout for a new shot-stopper after Matt Murray was forced to return to Wolves due to a serious knee injury sustained in the 3-0 loss at MK Dons.

City boss Gary Johnson told his club's official website: "We feel we owe Graham Turner one because he took Chris on loan at the start of last season and we recalled him after one game.

"Chris needs games and this will work for him and us."

Weale has been at Ashton Gate since the summer of 2006, but has only made 14 first-team appearances, having previously made his name with Yeovil Town.
