Hereford United manager Graham Turner thanked the club's loyal supporters after securing promotion to League One.
Saturday's 3-0 success at Brentford ensured the Bulls secured the final automatic promotion place behind MK Dons and Peterborough United.
It also secured a second promotion in three seasons for the former Conference club.
"It does not come much better than this," Turner told the Hereford Times.
"We would ideally have liked to have done it at home, but there is relief now because we have been in contention for some time and sometimes that tension can get to players.
"It has been a fantastic season for us and a fantastic day today.
"The supporters have suffered a lot over the years and to be going up again in our second season back in the league is terrific."
