Hereford United boss Graham Turner was delighted with the defensive display by his side as they ended a three-match losing streak with a 1-0 victory at promotion rivals Rotherham United.
A Gary Hooper strike just before the break proved decisive at Millmoor, with the Bulls holding out under heavy pressure late on.
Turner said: "I thought we defended magnificently. They kept coming at us but we were solid at the back.
"We've had a tough few weeks and needed a win. That puts us back in it.
"If we can continue to take points like that from the leading sides, we'll have a good chance, because I thought it was a very strong performance."
